[ TINA COSSEY BAND ]
Now partnering with Called2Duty, Tina is more determined than ever to use her platform to create real change. She understands the importance of giving a voice to those who have been silenced by addiction, mental health challenges, and trauma. “You can’t make a difference if people don’t feel heard,” she says. This is why Tina’s work is not just about offering services or assistance—it’s about making connections and empowering others to rise above their circumstances. Whether through a haircut, a conversation, or a shared story,

To me C2D is the event that we needed most this year. Almost like Achilles last stand in our beautiful state, not just in my personal life and relationships but, all over the place you can see the destructive path addiction has left through our counties. It’s events like this that let our law makers know we need tighter regulations on big pharma & health care industry and more outreach/mental health focus. This is a chance for us to come together to not only support our veterans but, to support our future as a healthier Arkansas. We are honored to support this cause and bring our brand of Arkansas Rock n Roll along side some of the best talent in the state.
[ CHRIS BAKER BAND ]
I am behind this movement 100% because of my dad. Watching him personally battle with opiates and how hard it is on a family to deal with. We’ve seen several overdoses and lost family members because of pills. My father struggles daily with depression and resentment from pressed pills, prescription pills, and overdosing. Any way I can help someone else become clean, I will do all I can. I believe music can cure many things, and that’s one thing that I can give back. I can relate and sympathize with anybody who is going through this horrific battle.. that’s my “why” - Chris Baker
[ BLACKWATER BAYOU ]
We are beyond honored to be a part of the Called2Duty event this year. As a band, we’ve always believed in the power of music to connect, inspire, and heal, and there’s no greater cause than standing in solidarity with those who’ve served our country. One of our own members is a proud veteran, so this event holds a special place in our hearts. We know firsthand the sacrifices and struggles that veterans face, and we’re excited to help raise awareness for the challenges that many continue to endure long after their service. Called2Duty is more than just a music festival—it’s a powerful tribute to the bravery, strength, and resilience of our veterans. Being able to perform for such an important cause is a privilege we don’t take lightly. It’s our chance to honor those who’ve given so much, to celebrate their courage, and to stand together as a community in support of their healing. We can't wait to hit the stage, connect with fellow music lovers, and contribute to this incredible effort. Thank you to everyone who supports our veterans and to the Called2Duty team for bringing us all together. Let's make some noise for our heroes!
[ BUTTERFLY FROM NOLA ]
“I had an amazing mother who struggled with addiction. She was one of the bravest, most caring, and brilliant women I’ve ever known. Despite her challenges, she was a passionate advocate against domestic violence. When I was young, she would often bring people in need to safety, sometimes even asking me to bring a toy to comfort children. Every Saturday morning, she’d feed the homeless, spreading hope through her actions. She was a poet, a motivational speaker, and a true light to many. Yet, as her addiction deepened, it created a shell around her, casting her into darkness. That darkness led her to anger, and in her struggle, she wasn’t able to protect me from my own pain. She passed while trying to make things right, after confronting my stepfather for the abuse he inflicted. She died clean, without drugs in her system. Honoring her memory has driven me to give back in her name. My Aunt, her best friend, also saw her addiction intensify after Hurricane Katrina, diminishing her quality of life. Another aunt faced her own battle with heroin addiction. Addiction has weighed heavily on our family. One experience from my time as QLC Fest coordinator stands out. A young man, battling addiction and deeply insecure about his appearance, approached me after a performance to say he enjoyed it. He shared his story with me—a tragic account of abuse at the hands of his father and uncles, who were ministers. They silenced him and pushed him to the streets, where he turned to drugs to cope with his trauma. When he hugged me, I felt the pain and shame lift, even for a moment. He didn’t want to be that way, and his pain still haunts me. Meeting you, I sensed that your spirit is truly devoted to the mission of helping people heal and creating change. I believe Called2Duty can be an ongoing force for saving lives, restoring families, and offering hope. My mother taught me that when God calls you to a purpose, you should act with excellence and compassion. People may judge others without understanding their battles, and our veterans, who have sacrificed so much, deserve any assistance we can offer. Through unity, music, and healing, we can make a difference together.” - Butterfly From NOLA
[ TAWANNA CAMPBELL ]
Hi, my name is Tawana Campbell. I'm a native of the great state of Arkansas. I'm a mother, a wife, an educator, and I'm also a performer. And on November the 9th, myself and many other talented musicians, we will gather on one stage in the amphitheater of Little Rock, and we will take a stand against drugs. We are promoting unity. And my why, when I was asked to be a part of this program, I didn't hesitate. I did not hesitate because in my mind, I believe that music breaks so many barriers. Music knows no color. Music brings so many people together. And I really believe that if we can all just come together, I really believe in my heart of hearts, that we can touch somebody, and we can actually make a difference in this world. And I'm always willing to give of my talents, to give my time, to let somebody know that, hey, we are here. We care about you. You are not in this alone. And if we can just help one person understand that, we've done our job. I look forward to meeting and just hanging out with people who I've never met. I'm very excited about being a part of the Call of Duty program, and I can't wait to see you guys. See you on November the 9th. Have a good day.
